Monster High

I loved being part of the frighteningly talented Mattel team that launched Monster High, a popular toy franchise rooted in narrative and character attributes largely communicated online. Just like my other project PAW Patrol, it was destined to be a hit based on the concept art and A+ story development. 12 years later, it even inspired a live-action movie with contemporary versions of the characters haunting the halls.

  • Wrote freaky tweets on behalf of the characters like: “@MH_Frankie: UR so lucky! Nobody hot ever haunts me!” and “I ❤ Hissette. Everyone should have an adorable, poisonous pet cobra 2 cuddle.”
  • Brainstormed game concepts and wrote copy for games like Pom Pom Panic and Casketball Queen.
  • Mattel and our partner Smashing Ideas earned a 2011 award for Outstanding Achievement in Internet Advertising.
